I am what you would call a "wanna be" cowgirl and have been all my life. I started to ride at about 9 years of age, only to move to the big city, where my riding dreams came to a halt. Heartbroken, I knew that someday I would ride again. When I lived in San Francisco, I rode at Golden Gate Park stables on the weekends for English lessons.
I have continued to ride since then. Horses will always be a very special part of my life. I love them and they are food for my soul.
In the early 1990’s I began painting horses with watercolors. In the equine world of art, I wanted to be successful with this new venture. I painted with much love and with high hopes. I started with Arabians, then moved on to Draft Horses. I didn’t become a famous equine artist, but I had lots of fun painting my beloved friends.
“The 3 Arabians” was my first attempt at painting horses in watercolor. I have always called them my “angel horses”. I made this painting into limited edition prints in 1993. These are all signed and numbered and come with a certificate. They were printed with archival ink on a beautiful archival paper. My name was Chris Panek at the time and that is how the prints are signed.
The size is: 8”H x 16”W
Price is: $35 plus $15 shipping.

“The Clydesdale” painting was made into a poster for the 1993 Draft Horse Show in Grass Valley, California. The posters sold out, and by popular demand, I decided to reprint the painting and offer fine art prints.
The size is: 16” x 20”
Price is: $84 plus $15 shipping.
